A lifelong New Jersey native and 25-year resident of Monmouth County, Shaffer is a graduate of Georgian Court University, where she earned a degree in Social Work. Since beginning her career in healthcare, she has remained deeply committed to supporting seniors and guiding families through every stage of life. Her extensive leadership background includes roles as Vice President, Regional Director of Operations, Nursing Home Administrator, Executive Director, and Social Worker. Her extensive background equips her with the clinical insight and operational experience required to drive strong, mission-focused leadership.

In addition to her professional credentials, Shaffer is an End-of-Life Doula and a Reiki Master, underscoring her dedication to whole-person, compassionate care that supports residents physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

As Executive Director, Shaffer will lead the Mira Vie at Tinton Falls team with a focus on culture, accountability, and service excellence. She is committed to empowering team members, strengthening family partnerships, and ensuring residents experience personalized care and meaningful daily engagement in a vibrant, supportive environment.
