She loved that she didn’t have to take care of a whole house – and she was able to make new friends, something that can be difficult in your 90s. She also enjoyed her spacious, sunny apartment, the outside terrace, and weekday cocktail hours, where she and her new friends gathered – and the rides to the stores. She especially looked forward to the excellent twice-weekly, no-pressure but challenging exercise classes, led by a wonderful teacher.”
